CINDERELLA In the Disney’s Cinderella, the main character is a girl who is under the care of her evil stepmother. She resides with her step mother and two ugly and jealous step sisters. Cinderella was supposed to be enslaved and wear here ready clothes. She did a lot of work around the house and always had to do the dirty work for her sisters. It isn’t until Cinderella’s fairy godmother comes up that she starts to transform and eve have a chance at attending the royal ball. The fairy godmother is Cinderella’s token to becoming royalty. Without her Cinderella may not have been a beautiful princess to the prince by the end of the story. From this version it is possible that one can reach success or riches with magic. The fairy godmother had lost of magic tricks up her sleeve that helped Cinderella get to where she ended. Snow White   In “Sonne” by Rammstein, the dwarfs and snow white as the main characters similar to the Brothers Grimm version. However, there was no witch. The dwarfs was Snow white’s achilles heel. Instead of giving her the apple and making her eat it, they kill her and then put her in a glass casket. The crystal casket is similar to “The Young Slave”. The dwarfs/workers in both tales are miners and cater to snow white. However, in the video snow white seem to be much larger and over powering. The apple that she ate was also poisonous in the original tale, while in the video it was the saver of the princess. The apple saved her in the casket and that is how she became free. One huge difference in “Sonne” is the sexual appeal. Snow white continues to attract the men/workers and her attire is very revealing. There is a scene where she has on the garment around her leg and she is showing it off to the workers. She was also in the bubble bath in one scene and that is when the men
